Pelo segundo ano consecutivo Atibaia recebeu a MOSTRA CINESUD, uma parceria entre a Secretaria Municipal de Cultura & Eventos e a Plataforma Cine Sud (plataformacinesud.wordpress.com), uma rede de difusão audiovisual encabeçada por um grupo de cineclubes ibero americanos sob patrocínio da Federação Internacional de Cineclubes (www.ficc.info.). Este ano foram exibidos dois programas de curtas metragens da Bolívia, Brasil, Cuba, Equador, Espanha e México, e um programa especial com obras do cineasta catalão Rafa Dengrà. Tal qual 2010, este ano a mostra foi aberta ao público com entrada franca, no entanto, aproveitou a exposição da ação para trocar os ingressos por garrafas PET vazias, que posteriormente serão doadas ao “Projeto Curumim” (www.curumim.org.br) evidenciando que a atividade audiovisual tem caráter mobilizador social filantropo.

The International Student Film Organization is an online network for young film makers from all over the world. The ISFO is dedicated to connecting student filmmakers from around the globe to each other and industry professionals in order to gain feedback and insight at the start of their careers.

By launching its new website, the ISFO has given members an interactive networking site that is ideal for anything to do with the world of film. Members and users can create detailed profiles on the website and upload scripts and films into a portfolio to showcase their work and talent and gain feedback. There is also a forum which is the perfect place for student filmmakers from all over the world to get in contact with each other. The ISFO works with several partners who offer discounts to their services, advice and opportunities, all of which are exclusive to the website. There is also an events calendar where members can keep up to date with the latest film festivals and competitions.

This dossier includes documents collected in the working days in Recife (Brazil) on 5 to December 11,2010 during the celebration of the General Assembly of the International Federation of film societies and the 3rd World Conference of film societies. The dossier want to be a biannual report of what happened in the international film societies movement in the run up to the General Assembly.
