O CNC – Conselho Nacional de Cineclubes Brasileiros comunica a fundação da Federação Catarinense de Cineclubes ocorrida neste último domingo (26/06/2011) durante o 2º Encontro Catarinense de Cineclubistas dentro da programação do FAM – Festival do Audiovisual do Mercosul.

This dossier includes documents collected in the working days in Recife (Brazil) on 5 to December 11,2010 during the celebration of the General Assembly of the International Federation of film societies and the 3rd World Conference of film societies. The dossier want to be a biannual report of what happened in the international film societies movement in the run up to the General Assembly.
Hope will be a useful tool for all members of the FICC.

Dear friends,

Claudino de Jesus, the Brazilian Federation President and Iffs Vice President, has assured me that Brazil will be able to organise the General Assembly from the 6th to 12th December this year in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. There will be a Forum as there has always been but this year it will be the "Film Societies World Conference". Screenings of movies will be organised besides the event and you can send from your Country some suggestions of movies. Claudino will tell everybody how it will be possible to screen films in Recife program. We are very happy with this successful and important news, even because after Cuba 1985 it's the first time that a General Assembly will be held out of Europe. The Brazilian colleagues are able to pay travel expenses and accomodations for the period above mentioned for the EC members and for one delegate of the member federations which haven't got any EC members and for one delegate from all Latin American federations.

The Agenda of the Assembly will be sent in due time later on. Looking forward to meeting you all in Brazil we send you our warmest regards!

To participate with right to vote at the General Assembly is requested to have paid the membership fees for the 2009 and 2010; you may pay it until the day before the GA.

Nesta quarta-feira, 30 de junho, às 14 horas, Luiz Alberto Cassol (Vice-Presidente do Conselho Nacional de Cineclubes Brasileiros) ministra palestra "Cinema e Cineclubismo: Alternativas para Exibição e Distribuição".
