In the city of Atibaia, São Paulo, Brazil, during the 5th International Film Festival of Atibaia, January 12-16, 2010, representatives of organizations and associations in Argentina, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Uruguay and Venezuela, upheld the 1st International Meeting on the Rights of the Public. Their conclusions are expressed in the letter below:

O I Encontro Internacional dos Direitos do Público aconteceu entre os dias 12 e 16 de janeiro dentro da programacão do V FAIA – Festival de Atibaia Internacional do Audiovisual e contou com a participação de representantes da Argentina, Bangladesh, Bolívia, Brasil, Colombia, Equador, Espanha, Itália, México, Portugal, Uruguai e Venezuela, entre os quais merece registro a participação do Presidente da FICC, Paolo Minuto.

You will be glad to know that my new film “Britter Bairey” (Beyond the Circle) (Bangladesh) has received ‘Best Film Award” jointly with Rustem Abrashov’s “Gift to Stalin” (Kazakhstan) at 8th Third Eye Asian Film Festival, Mumbai-India. Eminent Indian Filmmaker Adoor Gopala Krishnan distributed the award on 10 December, Thursday at the closing ceremony of the festival.
