This year's festival is much bigger and focuses on YOUTH in Japanese Cinema. We have edgy films from the 1960s Japanese New Wave movement, awards winners in our Focus on PIA Film Festival, short films from our Directions - NDJC programme in Japan, and our yearly highlights of the latest gems in Japanese contemporary cinema in the Currents line-up.
