You will be glad to know that my new film “Britter Bairey” (Beyond the Circle) (Bangladesh) has received ‘Best Film Award” jointly with Rustem Abrashov’s “Gift to Stalin” (Kazakhstan) at 8th Third Eye Asian Film Festival, Mumbai-India. Eminent Indian Filmmaker Adoor Gopala Krishnan distributed the award on 10 December, Thursday at the closing ceremony of the festival.

The film Beyond the Circle had it’s World Premiere at 34th Toronto International Film Festival in September,2009 and nominated for Bangladesh Submission to 82nd OSCAR Foreign Language Film Award Competition.
